   Had the same proble after loading w10. Refresh is caused by color accent alter. Get to personalization, selection colour, turnoff accent color - refresh gone! Like shooting fish in a barrel to name new file or rename and no refresh to top page..

    Oh my god, this was driving me crazy! I've registered here only to say cheers!

    I have quite a lot of backgrounds and I've gear up them as a loop every 1 minute, so you tin imagine every fourth dimension I tried to rename a file or something.

    Turning off the pick up colour option definitely solved this, but information technology's not the platonic solution. I hope there is a meliorate 1 someday.

    Since loading Windows x. I have come beyond a problem that the Microsoft Technical Team cannot solve. I have a MSI Laptop that was working fine with Windows 8.one. I loaded Windows 10. What I noticed is that if I pull up my files using the yellow folder icon (on the taskbar) and look at at my files that if I try and rename a file or click on a file, the file folder folio would reset/refresh automatically every 60 seconds continuously. When I tracked information technology back, the File Binder resetting was linked to the time and changing of the Pictures that were on my Screen Background that were in the Slideshow manner fix for one minute.
    By pulling up a reduced size version of my File Folders against the Screen Background Pictures, information technology was articulate that when the picture show changed on my Screen Groundwork, this would cause the File Folder to reset. If I had a file being renamed that was down a page or more, the refresh would take me out of rename and take the file folder right to the elevation of the page list.
    If I pull up the same File Binder using a Microsoft Program like Excel or Word, and have both file folders up against the Screen Background Picture, when the picture inverse, the File Folder opened from the Taskbar Icon would refresh, but the aforementioned File Folder opened in Excel would not refresh.

    i. The File Folder Refresh happens on all files either on my computer or on an external swoop.

    1 Note: When the Photo's refresh - only the page of Files on the right refresh. The list of Folders on the left, stay constant and practice non scroll to the top - like the ones on the right.

    ii. The refresh does not happen with the color alter mentioned in the other correspondence. I checked this the first time - and could not correlate the refresh with the Color Accent alter.

    Likewise - I inverse the time on when the flick slideshow changed - and information technology follows information technology straight.     I'm having a very similar trouble I call up. When I open up file explorer in Windows 10, single click on a file - the window automatically refreshes and almost seems to reopen.

    On my desktop when I go into personalisation, I can't encounter the colour settings in the options beneath. Withal when I log in using my laptop, I can run across them and alter from the automatic colour setting. As I'1000 using the same login, the settings should car relieve and be passed from my laptop to my desktop.

    But after turning off the automobile colour setting, I've even so got the same issue in file explorer. It's driving me bananas. Would love some ideas if anyone could please help!

    I have update my windows vii to Windows 10. But windows x desktop is being refreshed automatically, similar in 2 mins, and it refreshes complete taskbar, desktop and closes all explorer window.

    This is besides 1 of my many problems. Every two minutes pretty much on the dot. Information technology airtight Explorer, but non a picture I had open. I'm not using wallpapers (HP pre-installed one is the only ane I've e'er seen on here), and I checked the Colors Personalization card and it was already turned off. This is another symptom of an automated repair failure I believe. Only I tin can't troubleshoot, I can't utilise Reset my PC, many of my apps don't work anymore...

    I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 on my married woman'southward dell laptop and it refreshes every xxx seconds and like i said above i did that accent colour by turning it off and still doing refresh..

    I had the same issue and I have found a solution to ready the trouble :
    uninstall the IDT sound softwre from your reckoner and restart.
    The trouble is solved and the audio is still working !!!

    i had upgrade my organisation to win x. after that i had many bug like blank screen,automobile refresh.
    i search a lot and many people say make changes in personalize menu. i did but the trouble exist. afterwards that i found solution for it.

    that is u demand to uninstall sound drive from ur computer.
    no worries. audio drive will work after uninstalled it.

    I will tell you a fact! I updated to windows 10 this July and I also noticed the auto-refreshed file explorer! The just thing I did that stopped it was PUTTING MY Colour ACCENT OFF in PERSONALIZATION and picking just i color.

    Howdy everybody. I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 48 hours ago and have been driven Absolutely MAD past the machine-refresh feature. All my desktop icons that I have arranged in groups refresh to some kind of default downwardly the left side of the desktop every minute without fail. I've tried the suggested turn off automobile colour application in personalization but it hasn't worked. Has anybody got any other bright ideas before I throw my laptop out the window into the garden!
